O&B Tuesday 9th January

A good turnout of 9 players today as folk start to return from holidays.  We all thought we were in for a wet round but, thankfully, the wet stuff stayed away until we finished playing.  The mention was won on countback with 30 points by Ron Marsh nicking it from Ray Fish - sounds like they both got a mention !!  In third place was yours truly, aka Wild Bill, with 34 points winning 3 Euro.  The runner-up with 35 points on countback was Dave McVey winning 6 Euro.  Top spot with the same 35 points, winning 9 Euro, was Alan Young: well done Alan and certainly playing more like the Alan Young of old ! It's the postponed cross-country Scramble this Saturday and next Tuesday the January Stableford Competition for us all to look forward to, weather permitting.  Keep swinging and I look forward to seeing you in the Valley some time.
