O&B Report for Tuesday 28 January 2025

Apologies for the absence of reports for so long but technical problems have interrupted our normal service....not sure how long this current access will last for so please bear with us; thanks. Now, what happened today ? We had an outing to Elea Golf Club, well 7 of us did. It was a beautiful day and some reasonable scores were achieved as follows. The mention went to Sal Harris with 27 points on countback. Third place on the same 27 points was Steve Goodbourn, winning 3 Euro. Second was Ron Marsh with 28 points, winning 4 Euro. The man in form at the moment, having won the Memorial Trophy last Saturday, taking the top spot today was Alan Young with 33 points, winning 7 Euro. An outstanding finish of 2 pars on the final 2 holes deserves a mention, particularly the 17th 'Bobby Jones' which leaves very little room for error...a sterling performance Alan; well done. Hoping to see you all again next Tuesday for more fun in the valley...Happy Valley.
